    superb

my husband really enjoyed this dvd. on this DVD you get five episodes, that are handpicked by Seth MacFarlane as his favourites.

also on it are Seth Macfarlane's views on these special episodes, commentaries on each of them, an inside look on Family Guy Season 4 and the pilot episode to American Dad.

In 'When You Wish Upon A Weinstein', Dad Peter tries to convert his son, Chris, to Judaism as he believes that all of his financial problems, can be solved if they are dealt with by a Jewish person.

other episodes are 'Road To Rhode Island', 'To Love And Die In Dixie', 'I Am Peter Hear Me Roar' and 'Lethal Weapons'.

    well worth renting out.

    poor- very shocked

Was this the directors sweetest pick? Because if so, youll find he likes these episodes the best because he is racist against jews, laughs at sexism and pretty much dives head first into other extremely conterversial issues. Not his best by a long shot- I fell alsleep halfway through! I would recommend series 4and 5 instead- much funnier and up to date. Not worth renting this- theres a HELL of a better collection around. A shocked and disappointed avid Family Guy Fan. :(

Good, but rent the whole series DVDs instead

All these episodes can be found on the other complete series DVDs. So I would recommend you hire Seasons 1, 2 & 3 (alot of DVDs) rather than this. Family Guy is worthy of 5 stars.

Not the best of family guy

Although this is quite amusing in parts, it certainly isn't the 'sweetest' collection of them all. I have watched funnier episodes on tv although I am sure this will be enjoyable to 'die-hard' Family Guy fans.

    Great Freakin Show

This is by far the best thing of its kind on TV ... followed by 'American Dad' but thats created by the same people.

    Freakin Sweet Rental

As an avid Family Guy fan, there is no such thing as a bad episode in my opinion.

However, with only five episodes on this disc, renting a full series disc is sure to be better value, having more episodes on it.

    Still a good rent though.

Something to dip in and out of

I watched the whole thing back to back, but realisticly the kind of thing to put on when the tv is rubbish.

    That said a fine selection

Very funny but not anything new.

5 good episodes, whether they are the best or not is a matter of opinion. Good to rent as a one-off but if you want the full 'family guy experience' then it is worth renting the season DVDs which have these episodes and many more.
