    The funniest animation...ever!

I would probably rank this as the very best of all Family Guy seasons so far. In many ways, you might consider Family Guy in its present position at the same level of quality as peak Simpsons.

What we've got here is 13 episodes, all brand new adventures. The humour here seems stronger and ruder, mostly because the DVD releases allows for any swearing to be fully uncensored. You know you're on to a winner considering the strength of Season 3, and this one simply improves on that.

So what's the only problem with this Season? There are only 13 episodes! Damn you McFarlane!

    not worth the hype

sorry mr griffen,I loved the first series but i think it is tailing off far quicker than any of the other series to which it is compared to - switch to the tummy achingly funny american dad series 1 for comedy gold rather than the latter fanily guys series

    Funny as hell

If you like the simpsons, futurama etc then this is the one to watch. From the opening scene to the last i laughed so many times it hurt my face. i am a big fan of the simpsons but this is 10 times funnier than any animated comedy I've ever seen.

My advise is to start from the beginning of series 1 then make your way up because there are reappearing jokes that make it a lot funnier and more understanding to the family guy fan.

Viewed within minutes of gaining a copy !

Only released today 24/04/2006 .This to me has to be the long awaited climax to the Griffin family saga. The usual antics of all the old favourites the psychotic baby Stewie and the sometimes repugnant Father( Family Guy ).Chris the eldest son, can he be any more innocent or just plain dumb ? This fourth season has to be the best so far only leaving you gasping for more, but is there more to come ? The episodes will have you in kinks of laughter with it's brilliant writing and excellent cartoon drawing. Some of the situations are so bizarre yet so strangely familiar ! Great stuff i can't wait to watch it all over again when i next rent it,( Soon me thinks ! ) Even if you don't like cartoons this is so adult and childish i reccomend anyone to give it a viewing.

    Another winning season!!!

Family guy is basically The Simpsons only ruder and funier! Same kinda set up you have the dad-Peter who is always causing trouble, Louis the patient wife,The kids Meg,chris and baby Stewie....only Stewie wants to rule the world and kill louis. To top it off you have the loved family pet Brian,Who can talk! You have got to watch it to believe it, and this season is funnier than the last!

Finally a DVD worthy of 5 stars....

If you're a huge family guy fan like me, then you were probably left a bit...what's the word...nonplussed by the Stewie Griffin Story that came out a while ago. I was a bit concerned the writers had burnt themselves out but forget that; they're back on top form with this and somewhat sicker than ever; check out Peter's flashback of Jepatto trying to get Pinnochio to lie. Flawless.
