    Avoid Disc 3

Short-changing viewers, Fox have dropped 5 of the 18 rpisodes and filled the this disc with 'How to draw Peter' and other wasteful nonsense. There are NO FG episodes here, so you might want to give Disk 3 a miss.

as always, better than the last series!

how do they keep coming up with new ideas? i don't know, but they do! this series is great, episode two is one of my favourites when stewie and brian become radio DJ's, and later on in the series when peter beats the crap out of some kid, , it's what he does next thats funny!!! look out for it. also look out for the yellow chicken in the last episode. i won't ruin it but you'll love it if your familiar with the show.

i've seen them all as they come out in the US. where a bit behind.

anyways, if your a true family guy fan you won't be let down!

    Disgustingly Hilarious!

I laughed at every inappropriate moment and I loved it! As the series continues, although they get more & more ridiculous, the laughs can only get better.

Peter remains one of my favourite characters, but I fear the wonderful Adam West may be stealing the lime light!! Ooooh, I look forward to the next series :)

    Customer Review

When I first discovered Family Guy, I was totally blown away. It was *much* more 'edgy' than the Simpsons, but still far from being as downright offensive as, say, 'South Park'.

When I put on an episode, I was usually laughing like a maniac in minutes, sometimes so hard that I thought I would hurt myself! And yes, there were occasional shocking moments where I thought 'I can't believe they did that!'

This continued through series 1-3. It just got better... it seemed to be a mish-mash (dare I say rip-off?) of elements from other shows - the Simpsons, Peanuts, etc... but somehow it all WORKED, and worked gloriously.

Then, season 4... it seemed to have lost something. Even more so in season 5, where the 'be offensive for the sake of being offensive' levels crept a bit higher.

Now we get to season 6, and while it was nice in some ways to check in with Stewie & Brian & co again... well, I kinda wish they hadn't bothered. In a (much) earlier show, hearing Lois say the F-word was hilarious because it was so unexpected and shocking. Now you can count on someone saying it at least once per episode, and, sorry, but it just ain't funny any more. All the racist stuff doesn't really do it either, and even Quagmire's sexual shenanigans are starting to wear a bit thin.

The show is increasingly turning to offensive and shocking stuff as a way to get laughs, and the sad thing is, it really isn't working.

    Gets better and better

Ive just finished watching season 6 on TV but I still laughed at every joke. Your either a Family Guy fan or you think it is stupid and childish, but even the latter (you know who you are) couldn't help but laugh at some points and then try to cover it up by saying they were thinking of something that happened earlier and not this stupid programme lol, you lie. Disk 3 was a let down, not much in the way of a bonus but some of the deleted sketches are funny. All in all, fans will have probably been out and bought it already, if your easily offended and never watched it before then dont, if you like Simpsons, Futurama or American Dad and have no issues with religion, disabilities, race, sexism or pretty much anything being ridiculed then you will want to watch this over and over again and then watch the last 5 seasons as well.
