A different style
By a customer from London , 05 May 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
Family follows the trend of the recent ganster movies but adopts a relatively new twist. The film revolves around two families and the un-expectant consequences of a ganster hit gone bad. The film picks up threads from this crucial turn of fate and explores what leads to a full scale confrontation between unlikely foes.
Big B has delivered his usual good performance in the movie. Unfortunately, even with its twists and turns, the plot remains weak and the movie is more Big B driven. Akshay refines his newly acquired style and does well.
Overall - a good movie. Watchable with family as long as you skip the 'item numbers'- Was this review helpful to you?

Misleading...
By a customer from Essex , 03 Oct 2006Trying too hard to be a good gangster film. Rajkumar's films in the past have been quite good but this one is the worst of all. Amitabh trying too hard to be bad but then runs around in mumbai looking for his family...- Was this review helpful to you?
