superb
my children love the fantastic four. this close knit family of superheroes are preparing for Reed and Sue's Wedding, when the fantastic four meet their greatest challenge yet .
in 'Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer' the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. he is a strange being who travels through space on a cosmic surfboard.
As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of The Silver Surfer, and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost.
and then, whilst they are trying to subdue their silvery foe, the fantastic four superhero family, discover to their horror, that the Surfer is just a herald, for an even bigger menace: The planet-devouring Galactus.
this is well worth watching -

Downfall of the Silver Surfer
I only watched this film because my boyfriend wanted to. This is not to say I do not enjoy these type of films, because i do. I loved the earlier film Fantastic Four!
My boyfriend was exspecting more, as a reader of marvel comics he was exspecting more from the story line and more about the silver surfer.

Fans were treated to an all-star line-up this week as Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans all took to the red carpet for the premiere of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Following on from the first movie in the series, the sequel features each superhero facing a new foe in the form of the Silver Surfer, in addition to the return of an old nemesis.
