Farscape being a high budget sci fi series is great and end of season 1 disk 10 is great. The characters have been developed all through this series and rigel is absolutely a comic genius. Deffo the best disk of season 1, cant wait to see the next season.4/5 stars- Was this review helpful to you?

The best sci fi show of all
By Dungbeetle (503 reviews) from London , 28 Feb 2010This series maintained a high level of acting, writing, directing, and innovation throughout. A combination of British engineering and effects, Australian humour, American money and belief. It is original in concept and pays homage to many other genre. The lead characters develop in their own right and in Scorpius we have one of the most effective and evil badies in tv history. The humour and sexual tension between the heroes is maintained with several plot twists and turns during the whole run. Sadly it was axed due to high costs and a change of company controllers. A legion of fans raised hell and the company ended up making Peace Keeper Wars which tied up many story loose ends. The final unmade series was issued in comic form I believe. I still hope that one day a motion picture movie will be made, especially before the main cast are too old to enjoy it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Why only two?

The series is fantastic, but I find it really irritating to only get 2 episodes per DVD when most series provide 3 or sometimes even 4. It just seems like a way to force viewers into buying/renting more DVDs.- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent, but a rip off

I love the characters.
I love the plots.
I love the special effects.

5 reasons why you shoul rent this title

2. The stories lines are great; the writer’s excel in making up brilliant plot lines.
3. Amazing Pupets are brilliant well crafted and very life like.
4. The characters are great well crafted and amusing.
