The Rock finally gets the role he deserves.

This movie isn't anything groundbreaking, it does nothing unique and it doesn't try to. It's an action movie with a fairly decent plot.
The main attraction to this movie will no doubt be The Rock, he plays an ex-convict looking for revenge and stopping at nothing to get it. This is the role he has been in need of, none of the usual gimmicks of his make an appearance, no wrestling, no eyebrows and no cheap quotes. In fact The Rock doesn't say much in this movie at all, which adds to the character and makes him more believable.
This movie is a break The Rock so desperately needed. It isn't an all out action movie so don't go in expecting The Expendables type fights, it's bloody, gritty and tense.
I would give it a good 4/5 as like I said before, it doesn't do anything new or original, but what it tries to do it does well.- Was this review helpful to you?

By woodysahero (12 reviews) , 14 Jun 2013its only a movie....... and yep gr8 acting and direction for one of those life stories. suspense all the way wondering why till the end. so im giving a 10 out of 10,and dj is getting a feel for acting,so good a role for him and played it well,as all the casting.. i can watch more than once so well done..not for kids ,bullets flying in one direction ...head..mainly... but i was glued...so......yahoo..- Was this review helpful to you?

Dwanye entertains
