  • catastrophic waste of talent

    [Highly rated reviewer]

Dismal, hectic farce which runs out of steam within the first few minutes and then never picks up again; add in a joyless cast and a script with about two jokes, and you’ve got yourself a major stinker.

It seemed like it couldn’t go wrong: Billy Crystal and Robin Williams, two of the funniest comedians around, teaming up with one of the most accomplished comedy directors, helmer of Dave, Twins and Ghostbusters…but it did go wrong. Badly, badly wrong.

In the end, it’s not quite as appalling as it’s reputed to be, but it’s still pretty awful.

And no, it’s not a kid’s movie, despite the title, with the Goth metal concerts, drunken teens and explicitly swearing drug dealers that make up its ramshackle ‘plot’.

Loved this one...Both Robin Williams and Billy Crystal were Fabulous throughout. I'm a bit of a fan of both of them so to see both in a film together was great!!

I got to laugh lots, so the film done it for me, I feel some of the reviews made were a little harsh!

    Most definitly will watch again.

  • Very disappointing

I rented this film because of it's star studded cast. Even that couldn't make this film a success in my eyes. The plot is terrible and really boring.

Don't be fooled by the cast list, these comics can't save this film.

Wacky this certainly was. In fact I am left still not really sure about it. Either it was a fun movie or it was rather over the top.

Just what you expect from these two guys. Funny film, quite obvious ending really. Adored the two fathers, the casting was great!

Well Billy Crystal and Robin Williams were just fine but it was a little weak as far as rom/coms go.
