Commic Classic

What more can I add to the already established genius of wit and humour written by John Cleese and Connie.
The series will go down in history as the most memorable comedy on TV. We still find it hard to believe that there were only 13 episodes made and yet we live in eternal hope that there may have been just one more episoide that somehow got hidden away that someone will one day discover.

The 2nd part is better and funnier but I must agree with one review that it it is for all times and watch one episode at a time- Was this review helpful to you?

Exquisite Comedy
By Halibut (1 review) , 16 Jan 2012Exquisitely, painfully funny. Though a little dated, it is nevertheless timelessly funny. Who gives a fig for production values when the writing and timing is this good?- Was this review helpful to you?

Best of the best
By a customer from Atherstone , 11 Dec 2010What more do you need. Laughed out loud all the way through. Shame it a way it was the end of the series but gold dust it is. Did watch all at once but just couldn't help it!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Timeless
By Whenwe (16 reviews) from Leeds , 03 Sep 2009Faulty Towers is always funny. Suggestion: watch only one episode at a time with a day in between. Watching the whole dvd in one go spoils the fun.- Was this review helpful to you?

Glorious Comedy
By a customer from Worcester , 13 Aug 2009Best UK comedy ever? Only Fools & Horses probably gets that crown. This Fawlty Towers series is most definately the better of the two produced , however. Classic scenes with Basil and Co to make you laugh all the way through.- Was this review helpful to you?
