This film has a lot of mixed reviews so I thought Id give it a try and make my own mind up. However, I wish Id never bothered. Even for a budget film this is far below standard. I can, just about, understand why some would compare this film to se7en. It portrays a cop from Australia, who himself in an unhealthy relationship, taking it upon himself to track down a psychologically disturbed man in the U.S who wishs to re-live the unhealthy relationship with his overweight bedridden mother. He feeds women literally to death, whilst filming it on the internet, in what seems to be some sort of punishment for the woman- whilst the guy gets off on it . However, this film is truly awful. The plot is simplistic, the acting very, very bad, and the directing very poor. The only possible reason to watch this film is this: to gain an understanding of just how awful films can be.
I had to stop eating at one point. Not a lot turns my stomache, but this managed it.
Reminded me of a cross between Se7en and 8mm, both of with were great films. The acting is good, the camera angles alright, and has a good mix of music in it which occasionaly made me chuckle.
This is a great film, but probably not for a night in with the wife... It doesn't set much of a romantic tone...
if you read this and have read any of my reviews then you will, notice i have watched some quite strong, and notorious movies, this is among that crowd.
This takes in the notorious case of the german internet cannibal, then descends into forced feeding people for entertainment, with a twist just check what the victim is being fed?
And ends up with a reverse of the whole situation, not entirely female freindly this contains strong sex nudity, and a weird 70s-80s bubblegum soundtrack, for fans of edgy cinema, not one for the family or to sit down with people of weak dispositions.
Made in Australia and has a weird washed out colour to the film,no extras but at least it came in 5.1 surround.
I was looking forward to this film: the front cover was fantastic and some of the comments on the film regarding it's stomach churning qualities set my pulse rating. But within a couple of minutes of watching feed I knew I was goingt o disappointed. I am indeed a fan of cheap, nasty films, but they need a good story, solid acting and an intriguing premise. Sadly, feed lacked in all these departments. It was too cheap, the script was leaden, the premise was daft and the acting was questinable at best. It was an unrewarding experience and I ended up forward winding through the final act - it was that bad.
A great film if you liked movies such as Wold Creek, Se7en, Hostel.
Very gruesome and some awful stomach turning moments, were you have to cover your mouth and try not to be sick!!
Sick and interesting at the same time, to know their are people in the world into this sort of thing.
A few nice twists in the tale, particulary at the end.
Well worth watching. However not whilst eating!!

Definetly make sure you have an empty stomach before you watch this one
disturbing, and twisted addition to the serial killer movie hints of 'Seven' but still worth a watch if you dare.
can not wait for the director brett leonards take on the next highlander movie !!

my wife stopped watching after 20mins.and i stopped after about an hour.If u do decide to rent this flim dont eat any thing whilst watching it....
Theres a good movie hiding in here somewhere, but this falls flat on almost every level.
Considering the blurb surrounding the subject matter the film is surprisingly tame as compared to many other psycho/horror flicks. Fairly stodgy acting coupled with a lame script didn't help matters, plus what the hell was up with the soundtrack?
This has some bad power chord rock, and an ending with at least two major plot holes in it.
Nothing more than an extended mtv style video for an adolescent audience.
To those people who gave this film a low score because they found it disturbing - well what did you expect? Its a horror about obesety and cannabalism!
FEED is thouroughly original, sick, twisted, and has one of the most satisfying horror film endings in a long time. The film focusses on the slow descent into madness of a internet website cop as he tries to shut down extreme fetish sites across the world. He comes up against a psychotic adversary who is more than his equal and the ensuing game of cat and mouse is rivetting. I wasnt expecting a lot from this film but loved it.
There was so much wrong with this film (not even stating the obvious sickness of the subject) as in plot holes and random things that just wouldn't happen.. just thank GOD for Alex O'Loughlin, the gorgeous man that he is. He was brilliant.
I enjoyed this film, though I have quite a sick sense of humour..
This film isn't for the easily perturbed.
On a less biased note :]
expect it to be bad before you watch it otherwise the randomness will piss you off.
I ordered this title because the previous reviews made me curious. However, I was seriously disappointed with the whole film. I stuck it out til the end to see if it got any better but no such luck. The film was obviously made on a low budget but the actual sets etc were better than some other low budget films but the acting was mediocre to say the least. I would not describe it as stomach churning or the sickest thing i have ever seen as described as some other reviewers - in fact I can't really understand why so many people have said that. The story line is good and it could have been a great film with the right actors and budget to match but sadly it was a real let down. I would not discourage anyone from watching it but I would not recommend either.
