over-indulgence mars highlights

I caught the fresco sequence over 30 years ago while channel hopping before going out and taken untill now to catch up with the rest of the film.

The fresco sequence is still magnificent but there are lots of longeurs between any bits that charm or have any substance.

Over long and Rome and Romans don't seem that different now from 50 years ago so not much of a historical document.
