Gripping prison drama, well acted, well directed and well written. The stand out performance is Val Kilmer, although there is no weak link in the rest of the cast. The film is quite heavy going, the anti chick flick. The best film i've watched since The Dark Knight.
Excellent movie, I was enthralled from beginning to end. There were some quite violent and uncomfortable scenes at times but others were poignant and moving. The acting was fantastic too. Highly recommended.
