This must be the worst movie ever made

Absolutely dreadful soft core porn movie masquerading as a vampire flick. So bad in every possible way that it fails even as porn - it is the least sexy film I've ever seen. Jess Franco, the director, who also appears in the film - I won't say 'act' because that would be an insult to actors - has produced some good and stylish films. But this is abysmal beyond words. By a customer , 31 Jan 2013Jess Franco is a notorious producer of exploitation movies and porn, he claimed to be doing Oshima style shocking cinema, unfortunately 99%+ of people that see his work thinks its terrible; this is terrible. This release seems to be a significantly censored version of the 104min 'erotic' edit, there also being a horror edit and a hardcore porn edit, running time was about 94 mins. So even Franco fans won't watch this happily, and neither would any non-Franco fans.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a complicated plot but some of the strands of it are mysterious. Miles better than listening to YMCA by village people and there's not much blood in it unless you see deleted scenes. This is an excellent film

Judged on any ordinary criteria much of what the other reviewers say is true: there is precious little story, the dialogue is inept, the p.o.v. shots of the flapping bat hood-ornament are uniquely laughable. BUT, and I've capitalised it to show it's a big but, though not as big as Lina's, you dont watch a Jess Franco film because of his mad skills behind a camera. You watch it to see what Jess did on his holidays in the 70s and to enter his peculiar world of restaurants, nightclubs, off-peak holiday resorts and great big hairy vaginas.
The music is usually pretty good too. So please, if you're after a proper film this isn't it. But if you want to see a vampire dressed only in a cloak belt and boots walk out of a misty woodland scene and bump into the camera - and that's the take they went with - there's much to enjoy here.- Was this review helpful to you?

REALLY AMAZING. NO ACTION BUT ALL SEX.
