i rented this game thinking it'll be a big improvement on round 3. and at 1st i thought i was right with better graphics and gameplay. e.g. there isnt an invisible barrier beetween the boxers anymore or some of your punches just glance your opponents nose. but i was proven wrong. if you scratch beneth the surface its all just nip-and-tuck. in legacy mode theres no big improvements accept the training games which at 1st are ok but after your boxer gets better become nearly impossible to get more than +1 on relevant stats (you get +6 if you do good when you 1st start off which gets annoying. online there is either quick fight or world championship mode which are frustrating at times 1 because it finds a fight then says no longer available or 2 you will be against someone that when they start losing they quit or only no how to jab. i would have gave it 5 stars if not for a few issues so if i were u i would rent it because you'll probably get bord in a week or less

Unresponsive controls, and shoddy movement. Takes forever to load. Very unimpressed, I sent it back the day I received it.

boxing fan you'll love it, otherwise just rent.

if your a boxing fan you'll love this, it can get quite repetitive, but there's enough boxers and 'special moves' to keep you entertained, i'm not a great fan of E. A games but they have done a good job of this, plenty of trophy's and incentives to carry on playing, signature punches are cool (especially tyson's), and working your way up from 'bum' to champion is a nice touch. as i said if your into boxing you'll love this.

Replay 10/10 you will constantly feel like playing the game over and over.

Overall Game Rating 7/10

I give this game an overall score of a 7/10. Reason why is because, I liked almost everything about this, but the only big let down for me was the controls, you haveto attack the right-analog-stick, this was quite a pain for me at times, because when i was playing online and when i try to give someone a straight right hook, my boxer hits an uppercut and when i try to hit an uppercut then my boxer hits a straight punch and lastly when i try to hit a full swing of an uppercut... by holding R2 and rotating the right analog-stick it doesn't always hit my oponnent in the right spot and if i repeatedly keep doing the same move, my fingers start to hurt. So i think if they could have just converted the controls from the right-analog-stick to normal button basic controls it would have been a much better game for me and i would have rated it a 10/10.

Another Sports Game Joke!!!

This game is a joke for it being a boxing game. The controls are unresponsive and the game is slow, there is a stamina bar which you have to pay extra close attention to as after about four punches its empty!!! The trophies to the game are reasonably easy apart from three which are online to win belts, you can never even find the belt holders!!! Great fight sim.

Best and most accurate fight simulator out there, destroys UFC 2010 with ease. Also a quite good legacy mode. All in all definitely worth renting although not worth buying to keep as the story mode can be completed in 2 days.
