Being scuba diving mad we paid a ridiculous amount of money to see this at a west end cinema when it was first released, and were disappointed. I suspect because we had fallen foul of the hype and expected something life shattering.
We then went on a dive trip and the crew had acquired a DVD and proceeded to play it every night, to everyones delight (well most people).
I tell you there are very few films that could sustain that level of interest in a group of multi-cultural adults, but this was one.
The imagery is amazing and the one liners in the script coupled with the hilarious antics of the different characters will appeal to adults and children who don't take life too seriously.
Great fun and a sweet, feel-good movie.
