Sword and Sorcery
By Erebus from Portsmouth , 15 Oct 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
I saw this first in the 80's and loved it - caught up with it again more recently and it didn't dissapoint. Brimming with sexual energy and fantasy violence - this is a classic 80's 'dungeons & dragons' style adventure.- Was this review helpful to you?

Fire an Ice
By a customer from London , 16 Feb 2010The trailer showing here is not for this movie, just some dumb skiing film. I also tried clicking on the 'buy' button, that doesn't work either.
I'm not sure why this is listed here, considering it has been 'unavailable for rental' on my list for about a year now.
So, i would love to give a review, hopefully I will when I can see it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Curious
By Paul North from London , 21 Apr 2006I laughed when I saw this film classified under 'Children, Family, Gay/Lesbian' on the site but I must say, after watching it that is probably the best way to describe it.
Yes, it's technically an animated kids fantasy film but there's also something going on there that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I presume that to be where the 'Gay/lesbian' classification comes in. All the characters go around only wearing thongs and I have a strong suspicion that the whole film was an excuse for the film makers to get naked actors to run around for them to rotoscope into cartoon form later. I bet there's hours of unused footage. They could have at least included some of it in the Special Features.- Was this review helpful to you?

not Ralphs greatest
By a customer from uk , 11 Apr 2006Im a fan of ralph Bakshi. I actually OWN Lord of the Rings, and still hope one day the 2nd part will be made(fat chance now!).
I rented this as a (hopefully) decent LOR sort-of replacement.
While the animation is typically tops, the story is ridiculous(not Ralphs fault)and the absurdity of a half naked women doing battle, barefoot and in a g string, in an ice cave, really put me off- Was this review helpful to you?
