He may be a convert to saving the Earth, but Steven Seagal proves he is no tree-hugging peacenik in this eco-thriller. He is joined by Harry Dean Stanton and a grizzled Kris Kristofferson for a tale about environmental mayhem in rural Tennessee. Seagal plays a federal agent on a twin mission to track down the killer of a colleague and destroy the industrialist who has been poisoning the local water supply. As usual, Seagal's fists and boots do most of the talking, but fans will enjoy an unexpected treat as their hero warbles a folk song over the credits.

    Beginning of the end.

The beginning of the end for Steven Seagal. He's starting to get old and fat while slowly dissappearing up his own 'you know what' in his self imposed eco-warrior role.

This film is only saved by the fact that his later films are so much worse.

The story is passable. The acting is bearable, and there are a few quasi-famous people in there to pad out the cast.

Steven is looking a bit slower so the fight scenes aren't as convincing, but he is thankfully still doing Aikido rather than other martial arts which he doesn't have a clue about.

From this film onwards it's all downhill for poor Steven. The Foreigner, Out of Reach etc.

However there are some half decent fight scenes and some nice moves (if somewhat edited) which means this movie isn't a complete waste of time.
