Neither the pace nor style of the players it honours!
Fire in Babylon review

I find myself rather less enthusiastic about this film than the other reviewers here.
It is not a bad film, it has some nice incites (for instance the appalling treatment of the team by the Aussies in the '70s), and I was left with a far greater admiration for Viv Richards, as a person, than I had previously had.
However, I could not help comparing the film with Senna, in terms of a sporting documentary, and I felt Senna just grabbed any viewer, whether they knew much about F1 or not, whereas this film seemed a touch dull at times, and required the watcher to have quite a bit of cricketing knowledge to fill in the gaps.
