Protect yourself
By Mbub from Westbury, Wilts , 28 Mar 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This film was an average hollywood movie with a major filmstar, who in my mind is a bit like an American version of Michael Caine, as in, he doesn't get the films he deserves to be in. All in all this is a slow, but tense thriller, that can keep the average film watcher, like me, on the edge of his seat.- Was this review helpful to you?

(397)Very good watchable thriller
By Bobsview (559 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 02 Apr 2013Harrison Ford in a very good thriller where he is head of security at a bank in Seattle but his family is kidnapped to try to force him to release $10M ransom through computer hacking. Very credible performances all round. Violent.- Was this review helpful to you?

not ford's best
By cheesekake (1312 reviews) from uk , 07 Jun 2012this film was ok, but ford has definitely done much much better films.
the storyline was a little predictable and a little old hat.
the only reason i havent given it lower stars is cause ford is a good actor in his own right- Was this review helpful to you?

Boring and predictable
By RichardK (1 review) from Wimbledon , 29 Dec 2011Unimpressive and boring. It's the kind of canned acting and script that should be relegated to late-night television. Skip it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Nothing new
By gianino (631 reviews) from London , 04 Dec 2011But not too bad at all. The plot is ok and the acting is good. You can always rely on Harrison Ford. It's really weird that I got two movies this week with the same kid in; the kid is the same kiddo of Amityville Horror. Anyway, it's also nice that the family take a good care of the dog while they are kidnapped :)- Was this review helpful to you?

Same old, but not too bad really
By Countryboy (81 reviews) from Perthshire , 19 Nov 2011Yes, I know - the whole Harrison Ford thing is getting a bit dated now, although the older he gets the more variation in expression he seems to find. The plot is essentially the same as countless other of his films - family held to ransom, he complies with the baddies at first then turns tough, kills them all and is reunited...
Quite a good film, all the same! Worth a watch, though don't expect to be cerebrally challanged. Harrison Ford is usally good value, even though you know how things are going to turn out.- Was this review helpful to you?
