  • Relentlessly brutal fighting in a damn good film.

    [Highly rated reviewer]

Awesome fight scenes make this movie one of the best Jet Li/ Yuen Woo Ping collaborations they ever made. A more grounded fighting style than their other movies (like the wire-heavy but almost as good Twin Warriors) give the action a realistic edge. Brutal fights all round with lots of broken limbs (Nice!). Only the crappy dub is on this disc, but at least the actors don't have American accents. This is the only downside (like a few of Jet Li's films.) Hopefully HKL will get hold of it for a decent release in the future. Did I mention that this film is awesome?

  • Very poor with ridiculous fighting

If you like crazy fighting sped up with ridiculous martial arts moves you will love this, however I don't and thought it was terrible. Jet Li must have been desperate for work is all I can say because I think this film lets him down.

This is one of the best ever Martial Arts films-

Its a early 90's remake of Fists of Fury- Less Racicst & more action packed than the original.

If you've eyes to see, then the action is ASTOUNDING & the films rocks along at a saturday matinee pace.

Those who have given this film a bad review (one for the fact it didn't play in their machine!) JUST DONT APPRICIATE THE GENRE & if disapointed with this will like almost sweetF.A. about other great kung fu classics-

    10/10 unless your blind...

Whilst there's some good fighting, it does all start to blend into one after a bit. There is also minimal plot. Overall, this is one of the more disappointing martial arts films I've seen.

  • Fist of Legend?

Very disappointed with this film. Plot is almost ridiculous. if it was supposed to be a remake of Fist a Fury, it made a very poor job of it. Although Jet Li is the closest we have to Bruce Lee, he did an average job. He tried to some of Bruce's moves, like moving around as he did in Way of The Dragon when he fought Chuck Norris, but did not pull it off. i would not recommend this at all and it should not be described as a remake of fist of Fury
