What a joy to see this film restored to it's uncut best.

I last saw the uncut version of this film in the early 80's, since then it has only been available with the weapons scenes cut out.

It is still amazing to see Bruce Lee in action with his Nunchakas - incredible speed and skill!

Whilst this film does look amateur on occasion, Lee is undoubtedly the master and it is a very fine martial arts film. I particularly enjoyed watching it in the original chinese soundtrack and english subtitles.

    Well worth watching.

THE STORY IS VERY SLOW WITH LOTS OF HOLES AND IT DOESNT MAKE MUCH SENSE. THE FIGHTING IS GOOD HOWEVER AND THATS WHY WE WATCH A BRUCE LEE FILM ISNT IT. NOT AS GOOD AS ENTER THE DRAGON BUT THEN WHAT IS.

  • A classic, and worthy of a viewing

I grew up watching Bruce Lee movies, terribly dubbed, scratchy, mostly badly cut with all the nanchuk scenes removed due to restrictions by censors.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the online versions of this film, he was the consummate actor for these roles and spawned many who followed in his footsteps. If you allow yourself to put his films into the context of how they were made, the mass production of films for Chinese cinema and the fact that he stood out from so many others, you can then begin to realise just how much of an impact he made. The first true superstar of this genre.

    a timeless classic!

This really is a masterpiece of its time that still makes a good watch by comparison to modern films. Awful dubbing - granted but it wouldn't be an old school movie without it!

  • Classic movie, shame about the dubbing

I used to love these kind of movies when I was growing up, and they're still a lot of fun now, especially now that they're not cut to pieces by the censors!

It's a shame that it's dubbed instead of subtitled, is there no version of this movie available without the cheesy American and Australian voiceovers?

At the risk of upsetting the Bruce fans, this was a sad excuse for a film. Laughable plot, ridiculous acting. Just lots of blokes glowering, frowning & slapping each other. Sure, Bruce Lee moves like a god... but I couldnt watch this tripe.
