Thoughtful but entertaining

This film tries to challenge some conventional western ideas about Islam and terrorism whilst maintaining elements of action films, thrillers and mysteries. I succeeds quite well. some of the characters are a little obvious and there are two dead giveaways about the background and motivation of one of the characters quite early on that might have been left until later with a bit of deft editing, but the change in the role of one of the minor characters at the end is quite a clever trick that worked for me. It's no great intellectual achievement but it's a pretty good film. It's mainly in English but there are enough subtitles to put off people who don't like reading.- Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing. Poor Performance & Lots of Overacting.
