One of the King's best movies

Elvis does a good job with this movie. Apparently in real life he was decended from indian blood which is probably why he identified whit this role. Yes, it is a bit cheesy in places, but this is due to it's age! Watch out for moments of brilliance with his acting though - the scene when 'Pacer' decides to choose a different path in life is stunning. The boy could act when called upon to do so! It's just a real shame that he never took the role in 'A star is Born'.
