Fleetwood Mac - The Dance
18th April 2011
I have to agree with Croz of Berkshire that the band do seem to be rather just going through the motions in these shows, which is a shame seeing as it's some sort of 25th anniversary special. The lighting and camera work are equally lacklustre and why is Lindsay Buckingham playing a sort of toy guitar throughout.
Having said that the songs are classics of their time with some damn fine musicianship on display that puts the kids of today to shame, and at least Stevie seemed a little more at ease with herself after her long troubled relationship with the band and drugs, positvely jolly now and again too.
Definately worth renting though, particularly if you're over forty with an otherwise dull night at home in the offing. . .
