The clip of this on the BBC site was really funny, so hopefully it'll be as good as that throughout.

Okay I haven't actually seen this yet, but these guys are funny. Watch a couple of clips on Youtube (like the hiphop parody, and the robot 2000 song) and I bet you'll be reserving this too!

Absolutely humour at its best! Its so simple (as in their situation) but clever the whole show is, its a again and a againer! My fav - the record contract with THA CODE! These guys fill out big areana's in the uk night after night, Tim - Cardiff

Worth watching just to see the song 'Business Time'.. I've watched it so many times and it still makes me laugh. Very witty!!

Anyone saying this isn't funny must be a bit humourless. The humour comes from the pathetic situations they find themselves in and the flaws in Jamaine's character mainly. But then you've also got the idiot band manager Murray and the one and only band fan Mel. I haven't even mentioned the amazingly funny songs all the way through. Purely as songs they all work but the lyrics are well observed and genius.

Massive disappointment. Tried hard to like it, but just not funny to me. Each to their own of course, but i didn't laugh once during the first episode.

My girlfriend rented this on the back of her friends suggestion.. I wasn't expecting much, I had never heard it mentioned before, but it turned out to be a 'daft' treat.. The 'bands' 'manager' (Rhys Darby) really tickled me.. Great character!

Got to love those Australians.. oops.. New Zealanders (sorry Murray)..
