Despite the off-putting title, this is an atmospheric crime thriller, set on the seedy streets of Hollywood. David Amos is Michael, one of group of tough-guy collectors working for for local crime boss Leo (Keith David). The trouble starts when the boys decide they would be better off with Leo out of the way. An interesting twist is provided by Michael's unexpected relationship with cop Billy White. Sharply written and directed, Flipping is smarter than your average crime yarn.
