This was an enjoyable and informative production. Having read a considerable number of works about the period, the Crimean War and Florence Nightingale, I think that whilst some licensed has been taken with the facts, it was nevertheless a fair representation of the events.
The portrayal of the 'Officer Class' I suspect was pretty accurate and explained the events of the First World War where the senior management of the Army still reflected the attitudes prevalent at the time of the Crimea.
