    [Highly rated reviewer]

'Flying Monsters with David Attenborough - 3D Blu-ray', is like everything else that this man produces can only be described as brilliant.

The history of these flying creatures is fascinating and comprehensively covered from the very beginning when they first took to the air and how they have evolved to the present day birds.

There are moments when the special effects piece together the bones from the images of fossils to build pictures of these ‘Flying Monsters’ which really brings the subject to life.

What really grabs your attention is the 3D photography of the various species flying around the skies and how through generations they adapted to walk on the ground.

Whether you watch this in 2D or 3D it is a brilliant film – I watched it in 3D and I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen!

David Attenbourgh is unsurpassed in this type of documentary and Flying Monsters is not only very interesting but the 3D presentation really adds to the atmosphere and is not just a gimmick. The 'Making of..' documentary accompanying the feature is well worth watching too!

Sad to say I only have Blu Ray player and not 3D Blu ray so I could not watch it. I must have ordered it in error and it is easy to do that.

This is a must see for anyone interested in nature programmes. With stunning 3d visuals, the world of flight is panned out from a very primitive form right the way through to modern times. Once again Attenborough lends his evolutionary based science down, in an easy to understand format. Giving the viewer an insight into wonderful and fabulous flying creatures. A must see for anyone with a 3d tv, the factual film would have had 5 stars but the early creatures flight is a little sketchy, even on a 800Hz tv. This can be overlooked however as the film is otherwise stunning.
