Actually very good!
By MQBHK (14 reviews) , 13 Aug 2012I knew nothing about this film so was pleasantly surprised. I had no expectation but it held my interest.
Patrick Dempsey made a good transition from tv to film.
A bank is held up by 2 different sets of robbers and they come to an agreement to rob separate parts of the bank.
Many hostages are taken and there are many twists and turns along the way.
I really enjoyed it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Imagine The Coens Did A Heist Movie...
By Baz (104 reviews) from London , 05 May 2012In some respects - reviewing this movie will do you (the viewer) a disservice. Why? Because I don't to spoil it for you!
Suffice to say that 'Flypaper' is hugely entertaining - one of those unknown, unheralded little gems that somehow slipped through the cinema net.
Without giving away too much - imagine the Coen Brothers doing a bank-job/heist movie - but with most twists than Chubby Checker - and you're mostly there. It's a constantly funny, twisting plot that has you guessing and giggling right to the very satisfying end.
The large ensemble cast are uniformly great (enjoying themselves) and the dialogue and set pieces are at times brilliant and ballbreakingly funny.
I thought the BLU RAY picture was good rather than great - and a lack of extras is a bummer.
But otherwise dig out your acetylene torch, don your goggles, blast that deadbolt - and enjoy.
Cracking little film - put 'Flypaper' high on your rental list...- Was this review helpful to you?

Really enjoyed this, would recommend.
By a customer , 29 Apr 2012The beauty with being with love film is you get to watch lots of titles you probably would not have chosen if you were paying per disk. This was one that was a ah looks alright so added it to my list was not expecting very much. I really enjoyed it, the twists and turns and it was quite funny too without trying to hard to be. I would recommend. I watched it twice.- Was this review helpful to you?
