The Deepest Blues Are BlackBy Fishy182 (29 reviews) from Uxbridge , 02 Jul 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]The Foo Fighters came back at us this year with their 7th studio album, Wasting Light.
With it comes the release of this documentary.
Dave, Taylor, Nate, Chris and Pat all talk about joining the band, leaving the band and loving the band. In what is a heartfelt, funny look back on the history of the Foo Fighters.
It has plenty of old footage and A crap ton of interviews with pervious members and producer extraordinaire Butch Vig.
It starts with Dave joining Nirvana and covers every little fight, tour and album right up to the recording of Wasting Light.
A must for Foo's fans everywhere and a give it a go for everyone else.

Brilliant film!By a customer , 12 Nov 2012I've been a Foo Fighters fan for a few years now and absolutely loved this film. You get exactly what you'd want from a film about the band with Back and Forth, which you probably would get in other band biopics.
Whether you're a big fan of Foo Fighters or just a music fan, I definitely recommend this film. It will only make you love the band even more
A Foo DelightBy WeirdDecibels (1 review) , 17 Aug 2012One for the fans, a complete history of the band right up to their most recent album Wasting Light. Explains all the comings and goings of the early Foo Fighter band members and the making of their early albums. The film drags a little in the middle when describing some of Foo's later albums however it comes to life again when the band allow us access into Dave Grohl's garage where they built a studio and recorded making Wasting Light and it is a brilliant end to their documentary
Probably The Best Rockumentary I've Ever Seen!!By onlymoses (3 reviews) from Truro, Cornwall , 06 Jul 2012If you're a Dave Grohl fan, you need to see this film!
Along with charting the entire career of Dave Grohl throughout his various bands, it also sheds a light on the back stories of every one of the Foo Fighters band members, past and present. This compelling documentary gives you an amazing insight into the bands history and a glimpse at the emotional impact of every major event in the bands extensive history, right up to their thoughts and feelings with regards to the recording of their most recent album Wasting Light.
There is no denying that the main focus of this documentary is Dave Grohl himself, however as he was the founding member of the Foos, a member of the legendary grunge band Nirvana before that and undoubtedly one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, I think that it is only fair that this rock n roll nice guy gets his own rockumentary!!
Just in case you couldn't tell I really loved this film and I strongly recommend that you watch it.... right now!!!
Back and ForthBy a customer , 18 Feb 2012Excellent blue ray. Well worth a watch. Foo Fighter fan or not you can't help but be impressed with how down to earth Grohl and the rest of the band are!
Probably the best music doc I've ever seenBy fabioscouto (3 reviews) , 15 Feb 2012I've been following Dave Growls career since Nirvana and I remember when I got the 1st Foo Fighters album but I wouldn't imagine all the things the band has been through in the past 15 years.
You might not like the Foo Fighters but you have to give it up for Dave Growl. He's definitely one of the nicest people alive and the coolest person in the music industry. However he's not perfect as we can see on the film.
This one is a must see. It's funny, sad, nostalgic, inspiring and filled with good music.
