jeez, has it finished yet?

My teenage son really wanted to see this film. Maybe it would have been better if it wasn't such a long film, a lot of the time was spent on the location shots. The film was incredibly predictable and Ray Winstone's 'American' accent had me squirming in my seat. It's a 12U, but it has the s**t and B*lls**t words in quite a lot - also a flash of boobs, so maybe not for the little ones.

Rubbish

I was expecting fools gold to be really good coz it had the people from 'how to loose a guy in 10 days' in it, but it wasnt. It was sooooooo boring and the plot was so rubbish they actually had to explain how the film worked themselves!!! There were a few funny bits but all in all me and my friends felt like walking out of the cinema half way throught, it was that bad!!!

A good ole fashion treasure hunt!!

I REALLY missed seeing a good treasure hunt movie like this. If treasure hunts are your cup of tea then this movie has it all and delivers in spades!! Action, adventure, history, Relationships problems,beautiful, tropical scenery, eye candy for both male and female viewers....the list is endless! This movie takes you on a mighty,adrelin fuelled rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. My only regret is that it had to finish.!!!

A really good, adventure movie. Don't wait, go see it!

Oh Dear, oh dear, oh dear

Watched this on a flight back from Cyprus and would have prefered turbulence to break up the monotony. In fact if we'd had a decent bit of turbulence they would have put the tv screens up!

First of all - Ray Winstone, what were you thinking?.... somebody said you were trying an American accent - i don't think even you knew what accent you were trying!

This film is a really poor attempt at grabbing money from the ideas of 'Into the Blue' and 'National Treasure'.

The clues were as obscure as Ted Roger's 3-2-1 and sub plots kept being explained...

Don't waste your time or money.

A good family film for most ages a good watch

Very Poor!

This is the first film in a long time that I have turned off half way through - yawn!!

Tired of Matthew M showing off his chest and Kate Hudson being very pretty but dull in a movie!! I think it may be some time before I hire another movie with these two in!

Fool's Gold

This turned out to be a much better film than we both anticipated. So it's an old fashioned treasure under the sea in an old galleon type film, but the cinematography is good, with some brilliantly funny stunt work, which will just make you cringe at times... Watch it for what it is and enjoy the entertainment value.

Unbearable....and i'm not joking

This film was on the way back from a holiday on the plane. I started watching it but then it got cut off so i was quite disappointed considering the start was pretty entertaining. So i decided to rent it so i could finally watch the ending to this film. I have since regreted that decision. This film is terrible. No words can describe how bad this film is. The start is pretty good but after the first 15 mins the film goes drastically downhill. The plot is pretty confusing for a 12. I didn't even understand the film but i wanted to watch the ending. The ending was even worse than the whole film put together. They chose the wrong cast totally. Kate Hudson was badly chosen for the lead role.

This film is just terrible......................unbearable. You would have to be a fool to watch this 'mind the pun'. Oh and i almost forgot, considering this was supposed to be comedy, i never laughed...................i just moaned of boredom
