The latest comedy from producer Judd Apatow makes a star out of writer/actor Jason Segel...

There was no proper plot and the story tended to be all over the place.

Even Russell Brand being in the film does not save it, he just hamms up his reputation as a sexual lothario - should have gone straight to DVD or better still not been released.

Would not go overboard about this film, but to put this correct this film is o. k, but not as bad as some of the reviews. I love Russell Brand and I love his singing and acting he is great, wow and looks hot too.

  • Forget the bad reviews - amusing and non-prudish

Not nearly as bad as some people are making out. I am not a fan of Russell Brand but he played his part very well here - no long speeches or difficult facial expressions needed but his character fitted in as it was required. And some of his dialogue-less scenes were very amusing - specifically at the beach chess board! This is no film for prudes with (most unusually for an American film) full-frontal male nudity, swearing (but not gratuitous and as part of what would be normal conversational usage), and explicit description of sex acts and human body parts. With attractive female leads, doleful male parts and a basic storyline, this is a film that I would recommend

Heart broken dude goes to honeymoon resort alone to lick his wounds where he 'bumps' into his annoying ex and her new Rockstar boyfirend...

I mean we've all been there right? WTF?

plus Russel brand is as convincing as a polar bear in sunglasses trying to sneak into a giraffes only night club...

    A truly pointless movie

I found this movie to be fresh and light. With the humour written and performed brilliantly and a unconventional love story brewing throughout the movie, I was pleasantly surprised by FSM. This review may be biased however, as I am a great fan of Jason Segels works as well as Kristen Bell, then again Russell Brand always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Despite that however, he was the perfect casting for the movie and brought the movie a bit more depth even though the man himself might not have any!

Fantasticly rewatchable and best enjoyed with company!
