Frailty

Director Bill Paxton
Genres Thriller
Run time 96 mins Certificate 15

10th December 2011

A decent enough directorial debut from Bill Paxton, although I did guess the ending half way through. The story is good and down-right creepy at times, especially the 'God told me to do it so it must be right' attitude of the father, who takes murder in his stride in an almost matter-of-fact manner. The acting is good and the reveal at the end makes one think about the justification for murder. Not sure about the title though!
