Sinatra at poor quality.

This music dvd is of a poor sound quality. Taken from what appears to be a tv programme with a studio audience laughing at every 'joke' Sinatra cracks really does nothing to enhance this old recording. I cannot recommend this even to a die hard fan.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from ne england , 05 Feb 2006Fantastic dvd. The joy of watching 3 legends working together just great. Frank and Ella together with a smattering of Carlos Jobim fantastic. Please watch and see that this is what true musicality, celebrity and hero worship is all about. 3 stars, legends showing just what great music is all about. Antonio Carlso Jobim is one the the greatest composers,musicians to come out of South America but is not as famous as he should be. Great viewing.- Was this review helpful to you?

A memorable Sinatra show
By a customer from London, UK , 11 Jul 2005I remember seeing this show on TV some 25 years ago and it is just as good all these years later. Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Antonio Carlos Jobim are all sadly no longer with us but here these great artists are on top form. I especially like Frank's laid back rendition of three songs with Jobim - the interpretations taken from the superb album they made together.
