The follow-up from Mark A.Z. Dippe, FRANKENFISH stars Muse Watson (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER) and Tory Kittles in a story that pits a pack of huge, mutant, flesh-eating fish against the human inhabitants of a Bayou town. A genetic engineering experiment gone horribly awry, these monsters are the result of a cross between a fish and a snake, and can travel on land as well as swim, and they have a taste for blood, leaving a trail of gruesome corpses up and down the river. The local authorities don't realize what they are up against before the death toll mounts considerable, and by then it may just be too late to stop the creatures.

this has to be one of the most racist film I have ever seen. every single white person in this film is depicted as either being stupid, selfish, alcoholic, a whining mess or inhumanly cruel. i can't help but feel that if these characters were acted by ethnicities other than caucasians, there would be an absolute uproar.
I wanted to like this film, I really did, but after watching it I wish it would have been a) funnier and more willing to poke fun at itself or, b) genuinely scary / gory. As it stands it is neither of these and as a result it struggles to appeal to any genre of film fan.
a VERY weak film. I would advise you not to waste your time renting this rubbish. get Cabin Fever instead.
not a bad film mad me jump in a few places bit like jaws but in swamp
