Frankenstein disguised as doctor Evil look alike has his business disturbed by burglar and after killing him and losing his laboratory he runs. However, he keeps his determination to continue his experiments with brain transplant in the name of progress. Connections with doctors in lunatic asylum create new opportunities for him. It is more action oriented and less sexy or tongue in cheek than The Horror of Frankenstein made by Hammer two years later in which Ralph Bates replaces Peter Cushing in the eponymous role.
