Based on the Nightmare...
By Martin#104 from BARGOED , 13 Apr 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
Based on the Nightmare movies, Freddy's Nightmares The Series starts by telling the story of how Freddy became who he is in the movies. That's followed by episodes which don't necessarily link into the film, they're mostly Freddy's Nightmares. There's 3 episodes on the disc (more volumes are to follow). The special features aren't that special, just the legacy of Freddy, telling you the back story. Rent this disc if you're curious but I wouldn't recommend buying it.- Was this review helpful to you?

YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING!
By a customer from Plymouth, England , 08 Jul 2006PLEEEEEAAAASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEICE OF RUBBISH. The series is nothing even to do with Freddy kreuger! It is badly acted with a bad plot and is nothing like the movies. There are three episodes on this disk, one is how Freddy became who he is which you already know. The other makes absolutely no sense at all, and the other has the most worst plot and has nothing to do with nightmares. I'm a Freddy fan, but please just keep with the first three films and possibly 'wes cravens new nightmare'. This series will let you you down.- Was this review helpful to you?

For serious fans only
By a customer from uk , 13 Feb 2006The series is in no league compared to the freddy films. There are 3 programmes and only 1 I really liked{killer instinct}I found that to be the most entertaining. The other two were nothing special;its a miserable life made no sense at all.Overall the series is poorly acted and not very scary, but i would be curious 2 see the other programmes as im a freddy fan and liked the last programme, but overall unless ur a freddy fan u will end up highly disappointed this may happen even if ur a freddy fan.- Was this review helpful to you?
