Movie for after the pub
By Goldenboots (53 reviews) from East Grinstead, England , 26 Feb 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
This was much better than I expected. Freddie from Elm Street can no longer kill the teenagers there because they no longer fear him. So he gets Jason from Crystal Lake up there to start massacring the kids, so their fear returns and he gets stronger. This is the ideal movie for the weekends when you get back from the pub after a few beers with your mates, girlfriend or wife. Turn on the DVD, get a few cans out of the fridge and enjoy this. 3 stars if your back from the pub, but only 2 stars if you are watching it sober with a cup of coffee.- Was this review helpful to you?

(220)A Let down
By a customer , 13 Nov 2012This film dissapointed more than anything, love the Freddy& Jason films but this was only average,The main characters were great, the affects were great, the storyline was great, the thing that ruined it was the young ones couldn't act, witch is a BIG problem when the storyline is about them,if they had teenagers that could act this film would have been Phenomanal.- Was this review helpful to you?

Unwatchable vs ridiculous
By RJNeb2 (923 reviews) from London , 18 Jul 2011Some bright spark had the crazy idea of revitalising two tired overworked horror franchises by combining them. Trouble is, this is one awful idea, badly executed. Get this for a ridiculous premise: Freddy in hell realises the Elm Street teenagers have forgotten him so he resurrects the Friday the 13th killer to get them scared all over again. So, from the outset, it doesn't even begin to make sense. Add in some dreadful acting from a cast mainly hired for their silicone tits and some risible dialogue and you have a series low for both franchises.- Was this review helpful to you?

Nothing new but..
By gianino (618 reviews) from London , 03 Apr 2011ok to watch. It falls into the usual cliches but it kinda fun & cool. There's even Kelly Rowland in it & she is surpisingly good & few sexy dudes so it's worth to watch it. Jason Ritter is the hottest :)- Was this review helpful to you?

There's only one way to find out.....FIGHT!!!!
By PJshadow (199 reviews) from Leeds , 18 Jul 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Even when taken into consideration that the basic plot revolves around a nightmare dwelling psychopath employing the unwitting services of one un-killable giant of a serial killer this film makes ludicrous jumps to get from one scene to the next. And that is the genius of Jason vs. Freddy, no matter how implausible it gets you can't help but love the absolute stupidity of the whole thing as it unfolds before your very eyes. The film builds up to an unmissable clash as two of modern cinema's most infamous monsters go head to head in a battle to the finish. Y'all Feddy for this?- Was this review helpful to you?
