'Free Jimmy' the darker side of 'Free Willy'

Great animation, convincing characters and decent sounds. Four druggies, three Lapland bikers and five T.W.A.T.S makes an interesting cocktail. This movie is anti-disney a good adult animation. The only criticism would be that I expected a punchier story line, especially given the big name voice-over actors involved.

Jejune and predictable

full of unsympathetic characters and completely predictable. Ended up paying more attention to cutting my fingernails.

Poor production w/o original audio

I was very disappointed to see that this DVD does not have the original audio, only the English audio. The humor in the original version does not translate very well to the English version. I do not understand why both could not be made available on the DVD, hence the two stars.

oh my god.

it was soooooo poor i couldnt beleive that i actually put it on my list - the description on the website was so far removed from what i had to go through it was painful.

ONE STAR FOR THE ANIMATED ELEPHANT

If your expecting a heart-warming remake of Michael Winner's 1969 comedy adventure 'Hannibal Brooks' you will be not only be disappointed but confused. With swearing, sex scenes and violence this Norwegian animation is definitely not suitable for children or animals. It's not light and funny. It's dark and druggy. Four English stoners, five militant vegans, three American mobsters, four Scottish hunters and a million reasons to free one junkie elephant. A sunken battleship to 'Watership Down'. Although the main characters look like rock stars Sting and The Rolling Stones, the shining stars are an animated elephant and a chocolate moose. One star for the elephant, one for the moose.

Utterly dreadful! Got through 15 minutes of this, listening to favourite stars talking tosh.
