a HUGE film, unmissable...!!
This is one of those extraordinary true to life films that simply blow you away while you watch it. Surrounding the attempt to integrate various cultures into a school in Long Beach California after the Rodey King riots, this shows the winning of hearts and minds, and the changes that can be made through examples and choices. It is perhaps particularly quite relevant with the current situation of increased gang problems here in the UK.
This is an inspirational, emotional blender of a story, that is unquestionably my film of 2007 so far The positives in this film are immense, miss this at your peril, this is a brilliant piece of real life movie and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. 5 stars plus ! -

tear jerker
This film reduced me to tears. I think it was at the point I realised I was actually going to watch it all the way through to the end.
