Don't be too hard on it

Don't be too hard on this film, it's a good film with an original storyline albeit not necessarily executed in the best way. If it didn't star such big stars in may never have been as popular as it ended up being but after watching it for the first time in 15 years I was not disappointed.

It offers a moderate amount of action without going over the top as well as a good amount of (now dated) CGI and technology to keep the computer bods interested.

It wasn't quite on the mark with it's predictions though, the film came out in 1991 and the 'futuristic' part of the film is based in 2009 so now it's 2011 it does take the serious edge off of it slightly when you see what they thought the world would be like today!
