- The opening credits, showing a sex-obsessed wolf chasing Red Riding Hood, suggest some sort of satire is intended; but what follows is a sleazily violent, unsubtle melodrama.

  Utterfly brilliant!
  
  Excellent acting, especially by Reese Witherspoon who was wonderful. Gripping and scary at times, this film gives a window onto small-town America.

  Rubbish film waste of time
  
  I couldn't even finish watching it the film was sooooooo borning. The acting was poor and the plot was terrible. Never again avoid at all costs.
