Well worth a watchBy RoxAnDan (7 reviews) , 30 Sep 2013I am a colin farrell fan so he cant do much wrong, and this film was true to form on his acting i would watch this again it kept me on my feet the whole way through brilliant watch!
Not good :/By PVCPoodle (64 reviews) , 23 Sep 2013A small amount of leeway given to this film as it professes to be a comedy. For the younger viewers please hire the original!.Bit of a pointless remake TBF. Only reason I continued watching was because of David tennant. In his get up as peter Vincent he was rather tasty. Sad really when that was the only real comment able part of the film. This film is fine if you don't have any mold to watch growing.
So let down...By a customer , 17 Sep 2013I had jumped with excitement when I heard this was being made, but found it to not be a patch on the original that I loved as a child. Even Colin F couldn't make it it any good or add any sexiness to it sadly. The story changes were all for the worst too. Just a very bad remake and film.
OK - but not overly impressive at all...By the1oraCle (5 reviews) , 07 Aug 2013I put this on my list after a friend told me how great it was. On that basis I am disappointed I put it as a priority rental as I am on a trial offer which only gives me 3 films a month for 2 months and this wasn't worth loosing a slot for. It is OK, but nothing to rave about. David Tennant is, granted, pretty funny in it. The special /bonus extras are not worth bothering with: only 3, 1 of which is a music video. The 'bloopers' are few and just not remotely funny, like an actor laughing and apologising for tripping over his own feet,,, and the last of the 3 bonus extras... well I can't even remember what it was about so...
Fang-Tastic :)By JBourne (63 reviews) from Dorset , 17 Jul 2013I thought I was going to really hate this as I love the original film but I found that I really loved it. Colin Farrell is hauntingly sexy as the vampire. Anton Yelchin's performance is great but to me David Tennant stole the show!! Great fun - would definitely watch again.
