  • FANTASTIC!!

I didn't really know what to expect with this one, the title of it wasn't giving away anything but once i started watching it i was totally hooked.

the best way i can diescribe it is like saying it's between xfiles and doctor who.

very strange things happen but there is allways an expernation. the one who play's the professor in this is very funny to watch, extremely brainy but dont know the simple things.

great story lines, great cast 5 stars +++++ from me.

  • Simply the best series produced

Physics, medicine, psychology, economics, chemistry, love, biotechnology, biochemistry, espionage, time-travel....just name it. All mixed together, that is what FRINGE offers. I followed the series when it went on air in 2008 and I can categorically say that FRINGE is the best series ever-made. The plot is amazing and it leaves you wanting more after each episode; you will get attached to the the characters, share their pains and joys.....and the occasion tear now and then. It is simply mind-blowing. My only regret is that is that it lasted only five seasons.......it should be more.

  • Fringe is the lovechild of X-Files and CSI

Another great series by JJ Abrams. A cross between X-Files and CSI, Fringe explores murder cases that involve fringe science. Fringe science is science that defies conventional parameters which create extraordinary and intriguing cases that will have your brain ticking overtime. Fringe's cast works fantastically together and will have you in love with them midway though the series. A series that you will not want to stop watching has continued to impress me cleverly using the niche topic of Fringe science.

I watched the first disc. The series is one of those that prolongs the mystery in order to make you watch the next one. The drama isn't that gripping and the themes seem to be nothing you haven't seen before, meaning you can see most things coming.

If you like cheap frights and extremely shocking scenes, i. e. you have a strong stomach, this series has something for you. Don't watch it while eating!

Disliked this, felt samey even after the 1st disc, and only got the 2nd disc as I hadn't deleted it quick enough.

    Synopsis:

Something happens that the institutionalised scientist was working on 20 something years ago, digs out his old equipment / buddies, and solves it...

Kind of like X-Files crossed with HOUSE, but in my opinion nowhere near as good as either...

To begin with, I thought this was a poor cousin to the excellent X Files, but as the season progressed it became more intriguing and all the threads started to come together in rather a satisfying way. I think the programme's strong point is it's characters, which are all well rounded and fascinating in their own right. Some of the story line's are preposterous and daft, but you can forgive them for this as the overall picture is generally absorbing and addictive. Will definitely rent the second season.
