this is absolutely crap, i was expecting a killer frog to be on the loose, but instead a 70's version of a lawn party where people wander off and get bitten by snakes and spiders and die. no blood, a few frogs which are harmless, crap picture, poor sound and quality. give it a misss its a waste of time.- Was this review helpful to you?

(6)I hate to toady, but I really like this
By Tish2 (142 reviews) from London , 10 Feb 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
I really enjoyed this movie, even if it did over egg the pudding on the frog front. If you were to play a drinking game whilst watching, I suggest quaffing every time an amphibian appears. There are also other animals with murderous intent and a host of horrible characters who clearly deserve to die. Subtlety isnt a big part of this film and it cloaks it silliness in a host of good intentions, weaving into the plot a timely eco-warning and civil rights concerns. Judy Pace is excellent as Bella Garrington and along with photographer Pickett Smith (played by Sam Elliott) casts an outsiders eye over a Southern family in decline. The soundtrack, composed by the king of exotica Les Baxter is also an added bonus to this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Where's Kermit when you need him?
By TopDollar (89 reviews) from North Wales , 03 Nov 2007A family is inundated with frogs and persecuted by various reptiles etc. In its day this would probably have been quite 'scary', but nowadays it does seem very tame and dated. Perhaps I've watched too much Steve Irwin but I found myself thinking - that kind of snake wouldn't have been found in that area, that alligator wouldn't do that... and so on. Sam Elliott looked very young and the whole film, though enjoyable enough on a certain level, seemed rather 70s-ish and where it was meant to be frightening, it was just funny.- Was this review helpful to you?

THIS IS AWEFUL
By a customer from London, UK , 15 Mar 2006When my boyfriend said we had to watch this film (hes a horror fan) I thought fine must be along the lines of Piranha or Swarm, unrealistic as hell but worth a watch.
However the reality is that this film is just awful and by the time the cast start to croak it...excuse the pun, in the most ridiculous and Darwinian ways, you just dont care.
Frogs...a piece of celuloid that should never have been transered to DVD- Was this review helpful to you?
