Utter DrivelBy Schmierfink from Nottingham, England , 29 Feb 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]After so thoroughly enjoying the first Dusk til Dawn movie this one is a sore disappointment. It's cheap and trashy and comes up with the most rediculous camera angles (from inside someones mouth).
If you are looking for the utter brilliance of the first one carried on - forget this movie immediately.

The most use of POV shots ever!Possibly.By mondowray (6 reviews) from Great Yarmouth , 28 Feb 2008I stayed away from this one for years, being a big fan of the original I knew this made for the direct video market sequal would not live up to the standard of the original, and it didn't...but I dug it.
The film is directed by Scott Spiegal, who worked on the Evil Dead movies and this really shines through with his camera direction, zany angles and point of view shots from places I've never seen before including the inside of a man's skull after he's been reduced to a skeleton!
The story is fairly minimal, essentially a crew of guys doing a heist and encountering Vampires...I'll say no more.
The gore/effects are a mixed bag, with great old school effects mixing it up on the screen with some pretty shoddy (probably even so at the time of release) digital effects.
In the end this is an above average direct to video job and certainly better than many horrors that get a theatrical release.
i only had hope....By morganisms123 (20 reviews) from Reading , 02 Jun 2007i got 20 minutes in and thought - why am i bothering? it has none of the polish of the 1st film, which should have a much longer directors cut- (twice the length?) or a sequel from tarantino himself- which to be fair probably wouldn't work, but might have at least stopped me renting this low budget not in the same universe average piece of channel 5 tv movie tat. why does tarantino endorse these things?
Bite Me!By David Langley-Tayler from Weymouth, Dorset England , 30 Mar 2007Having seen the first Dusk till Dawn... one of Tarentino's great movies... boy was this absolute rubbish in comparison.
If the first one hadn't been made this wouldn't even stand up as a movie on it's own.
A rehash of the first films plot minus the humour, script and acting quality. Unbelievable that Tarantino even put his name to this as one of the Executive Producers.
It is terribleBy Vicky Smith from Doncaster, South Yorkshire , 20 Dec 2006Not as good as the first one. Very disappointing
Texas Blood Money!!By crazysexycool from Barnet, Hertfordshire, England , 15 Nov 2006I think this film is pretty average.. Not as good as the first one but ok.... It was nice to seem some familiar faces from the first film and very nice to see Bruce Campbell make an appearance at the beginning and gets killed in the lift.. hehehehe But apart from that it was an ok film to watch on a cold winter night . Make sure you have a cross and garlic when watching the film as you never know when a vamp will come and get you!!!
