Wow!!!!

Movie Alert: THIS FILM IS A MUST SEE. Fundamentally a French film but bringing a touch of Hollywood with the likes of Travolta. Action packed from the very beginning and lasts throughout. This film will leave you breathless from all the energy packed scenes. Not only is it full of action but it is highly hilarious too. Travolta played a blinder in this role, I would say he pulls off this role superbly. Then you have the delicious Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who, even though I love him, I was not expecting much as I would never associate him with a film of this genre. But he played your silent assassin without fault, Ok maybe the American accent was a bit dodgy but he stepped up to this role and made it his own. Brilliant!- Was this review helpful to you?

(356)Royale with cheese but no roquefort..
By nivelan (3 reviews) from Newport-on-Tay , 04 Apr 2013Luc Besson is a master of cool but superficial action films, and though this isn't as much fun as Taxi, nor a curve ball like the Fifth Element.. It is pacey, and it does what it says on the tin. If you liked Training Day and don't mind the Royale with some Cheese, tuck in. You could do much worse, with a Taxi remake for example.- Was this review helpful to you?

A good straight-forward action movie
By a customer , 04 Apr 2013Not quite sure why this has taken such a beating in the reviews?! It really is a good old fashioned action movie. Sure the plot isn't deep, but then there are shoot outs a really great car chase and some good character play-off and enough depth of emotion to keep some reality. It you want something to unwind with after a hard day at work, crack a beer, sit back and enjoy. If you're looking for something deep, involving and complex, probably best look elsewhere.- Was this review helpful to you?

AWESOME MOVIE!
By Horrornut (19 reviews) , 31 Mar 2013I love this movie and I think John Travolta was amazing - his character was so much fun. For all those reviewers that said it was an awful movie, my goodness, just be entertained and enjoy. How can you not like explosions, guns, car chases, betrayal, humour AND John Travolta? Action is not my first choice of genre, but wow, this movie was enjoyable from start to finish.- Was this review helpful to you?

All this world is about, action, love, betrayal, duty...
By a customer , 31 Mar 2013Good JT film which is full of actions, love, fun, betrayal. The sense of duty prevailed from both sides. Everyone has a purpose in life...good or bad...- Was this review helpful to you?
