Movie Alert: THIS FILM IS A MUST SEE. Fundamentally a French film but bringing a touch of Hollywood with the likes of Travolta. Action packed from the very beginning and lasts throughout. This film will leave you breathless from all the energy packed scenes. Not only is it full of action but it is highly hilarious too. Travolta played a blinder in this role, I would say he pulls off this role superbly. Then you have the delicious Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who, even though I love him, I was not expecting much as I would never associate him with a film of this genre. But he played your silent assassin without fault, Ok maybe the American accent was a bit dodgy but he stepped up to this role and made it his own. Brilliant!- Was this review helpful to you?

Besson's liberation of Paris: w/Travolta

James Reece, the ambassador's aid: is assigned to partner a visiting agent Charley Wax, who turns out to be a proper hard boiled nut case as only John Travolta could play. Taking terrorism down in chunks. From the drugs funding, to the potential suicide bombing at the conclusion; including the infiltration of whatever cause it might be: as Reece breathtakingly uncovers that his girlfriend is a counter spy. John Travolta proves what a true star he really is; demonstrating the conviction that must be necessary when dealing with a situation such as this, and does it with panache and piquant humor.
