  • Vampire films are'nt dead

    [Highly rated reviewer]

There have been so many badly executed vampire films in the last few years, that I had reservations with this attempt .

Especially as I was confused beyond belief with 'nightwatch' ,which was also a Russian production which made no sense. (if anyone has any idea what was supposed to be going on it that film I would like to hear from you)

However, Frostbite did'nt take itself too seriously.

It is basically a vamp mix of teen slasher and creature feature. if your a fan of vampire flicks then this shpuld be right up your street. (As long as you dont mind subs)

ok movie to watch with reasonable effects. some funny moments although probably won't really deliver the suspense of other vampire flicks.

Great tongue in cheek blood-fest horror.

Nice, snowy, atmospheric bit of class.

Recommended (if, like me, you like this kinda thing).

  • The spirit of Ed Wood lives on in Lapland

This is the kind of movie that inspires Uwe Boll to keep working. The kind you rent one evening when a little drunk and later regret the waste of time. My rating only applies to the first 30 minutes, because after that the laughable dialogue, corny plot, panto-like performances and lack of characters to care about all grew too underwhelming. I let the wrong one in this time.
