This has to be my all-time favourite anime series. Don't be fooled by the simplistic synopsis given on this site - although it might seem fluffy and just a bit silly, this series is actually a humorous and moving look at relationships and the power of friendship that will actually make you wish that this was a live-action show instead of animation.
I've seen all 26 episodes several times now, and there isn't a single one that I didn't enjoy. Even better, the English dub is wonderful to hear: Laura Bailey, Eric Vale, John Burgmeier and Jerry Jewell (who all worked on 'Blue Gender') do a terrific job as always. The artwork ranges from cute to sublime, all the characters are incredibly well-developed and the sound track is enough to make you cry in places. There's also enough action and wackiness to keep male viewers interested, along with cute bishies, strong female leads and a hint of romance, if that's more your thing.
